Nutrient Density
Foods that provide a lot of nutrients and little calories are nutrient dense foods. For example, Broccoli provide a lot of nutrients and only 25 Calories per serving 1/2 cup cooked.

Calorie Density
Foods that provide a lot of calorie and little nutrients are calorie dense foods. For example, Cup cakes provide a lot of calories from sugar and unhealthy fats.
